American Apparel Backpack

American Apparel denim backpack, vintage and gift buttons, studs from Angry Young and Poor.

Super excited about this backpack. I’ve needed a nice one for a while now for carrying all my things for uni like my laptop, and also for Parklife in October/other concerts this year. When I first laid eyes on this backpack hanging on the wall of the AA basement level, it just screamed to be customized. I want to dye it and put my new studs all over it… but I feel really hesitant because I’m a perfectionist and I want to get the design right. It’s also my first time using screw studs.

If anyone has any tips for using studs or even ideas on how I could customize this backpack, I’d really love to here them ยดโ–ฝ`

Ahhh awesome you got it. The only time I've ever used studs put me off doing it ever again as man it took forever and hurt my hand. I'm sure you'll be fine though x

That backpack is super cute! I'm sure it'll look even better once you're done customizing it. :)Angry Young and Poor! They always send the neatest stickers with orders–my sewing machine is covered in'em! XD

I love the AA backpacks. What I would do, is do a row of studs at the top of the pocket, or all over the bag and not the pocket ๐Ÿ™‚ Whenever I've studded stuff I found it easier if you cut a REALLY small hole to ease the stud in, espesh If it's denim, otherwise its a killer getting it in. Can't wait to see the finished result! Panda xo

Awesome backpack!!! You should spike it all over but like evenly spaced so it looks like a giant spikeball!!!! ^___^ Might cost alot though and would look like a weapon! But would look amazing!!!
